AKAI GX-267D 6 HEAD AUTO REVERSE STEREO 7 INCH REEL TO REEL TAPE DECK RECORDER

Description

For sale is an AKAI GX-267D auto reverse stereo 4 Track Reel to Reel tape deck recorder. It is in very good condition as shown albeit with some scuffs, nicks. It has been fully tested and works great, and the heads were cleaned and demagnetized for the best sound ever. A set of VU lamps were installed. The pots and switches were sprayed and the metal parts were lubed as well. Both channels work perfectly as well! The record function on this deck is a bit finicky and doesnt always work like it should. For this reason and being unable to locate a suitable repair shop to figure out the issue, the deck is suitable for playback and tape transfers. The sound when recording worked well at 3 3/4 IPS is very clear and better and wider sounding than the Source recording from, depending on the type of tape used and even better at 7 1/2 IPS. The deck will be offered as is for the recording reason listed. Price is 9.99 which is  The lowest that I am willing to accept for this tape deck.
A Pre shipment video of each deck operating properly will be filmed for both my protection and the buyer's and it may be sent to the buyer at anytime. This illustrates proof that the deck was working when it left here.

Deck will be heavily packed by Fedex so it arrives in one piece! Local pickup is welcome!
