AKAI GX-747 reel tape deck complete w/ factory 10" reels, hubs and rare remote.

Description

The monster Akai GX-747 open reel deck in excellent condition. I've owned this deck for 10 years (I am the second owner, first being my Uncle) and everything has always worked perfectly. It has been serviced regularly, including new tensioner belts installed about 3 years ago. Auction package includes 2 factory 10" metal take-up reels (one full of unknown tape), and two factory hub adapters (the best). It also includes the impossible to find RC-80 wireless remote control transmitter and receiver (note, transmitter is missing battery cover but batteries are tight so not an issue). This unit is big and heavy so shipping cost will be high, but I've sold and shipped many decks and know to pack them well.
