    Description

    American-Standard TCF heat exchanger (#5-201-04-014-001) in untested condition. Unit is being sold as 'used', but it is very possible that exchanger is unused, based on visual evidence. I purchased item at an industrial liquidation sale. Exchanger appears to have been stored in its original box for years. Item shows some wear, including: flaking paint, light surface oxidation, scratches, scuffs, and staining. Female pipe inlets all have plastic thread protectors in them. The two on top appear to be for 1-1/2" NPT and the two on the end appear to be for 1-1/4" NPT. The two 1-1/4" thread caps don't appear to have ever been removed. I pulled them for inspection and photos. Threads are all clean and crisp, but do show some light oxidation. The fins inside exchanger look pretty clean. Unit includes original instruction sheet and box. Box is very worn and is missing top. Unit will be double boxed for shipment. Exchanger is guaranteed to arrive in described condition. Unit is guaranteed to function as designed. It is possible that exchanger will need cleaned or flushed before being put into service.
