USAF Thunderbirds 50th Anniversary Commemorative Lithograph 21" x 30" - .99 (US)
Officially certified by the Thunderbirds Alumni Association, this poster includes 11 paintings, painted by watercolor artist David Lobenberg.
The poster is a digital montage of all 11 paintings, featuring a large central anchor image titled
“Ambassadors in Blue” which depicts the original 1953 United States Air Force Thunderbirds flying vertically in diamond formation in their original four F-84 Thunderjet fighters while the current Thunderbirds salute below from their state-of-the-art F-16C Fighting Falcon.
Surrounding that eye-catching central image are 10 watercolor paintings, each, in the words of Lobenberg, “a slice of life for the colorful history of the Thunderbirds.”  These scenes include pilots, families, narrators, support staff and mechanics, audiences, and of course, the different types of Air Force jets the team flew over the years.
