    A six photo collage of the United States Air Force (USAF)  Thunderbirds Team performing in their F-105B Thunderchief aircraft. The Thunderbirds flew only six official shows in 1964 flying the F-105 before an unfortunate accident on 9 May 1964 at Hamilton AFB California grounded the team. They transitioned to the F-100D Super Sabre in late spring 1964.
