Vintage Ampex 350 1/4" 2-speed 3-head Reel Tape Recorder Transport

Description

Classic AMPEX 350 deck is in above average condition, though by no means perfect. Pinch roller needs replacement; the takeup side idler arm looks a little corroded and bent, too. The motor capacitors are in typical condition. Cabling and end connectors intact.
Just the transport, as depicted; not a whole self-contained tape recorder. Capstan motor is intact, a proper Ashland hysteresis motor for 7.5 / 15 ips. Unsure if "10-13-58" refers to an October 1958 production or test date, or something else. Three monophonic heads are installed (used, and probably old).
